AIPAC PC 2020

AIPAC’s yearly event is a flurry of of conference branding, signage design and production, exhibit designs, and the creation of all on-screen graphics, videos, and presentations. It all comes together at the Washington Convention Center over 3 days, multiple shows, and thousands of people.

Branding

Creating the conference branding is a challenge every year. The logo needs to enhance the message of the theme while staying in a neutral political zone, representing both the U.S. and Israel. For 2020, a 5-pointed “American” star and the 6-sided Israel star were combined to enhance the “together” part of the theme. Everything was slanted to give it a forward-moving feel.

Signage

A lot of the brand expressed itself through sign creation. There was a desire to be colorful and to have a sense of moving towards the future which we hit here. With the pure number of signs created it becomes important to have a tight visual language that is flexible enough to cover all possible needs.

 
 
 

 
 
 

Main Stage

In the main ballroom there were 16 total screens with the main stage being the focal point. Content strategy, screen type (LED vs. projection), and technical capabilities all come into play. For each session of the conference the client likes to have different base graphics. This year we aimed to make the stage look like a different physical set each time attendees came in the room.
